Upcoming Titles
Alondra Press has now released Spinoza's God, by Franklin Lonzo Dixon, Jr., one of the most important of our titles. In this readable and understandable work, Franklin L. Dixon renders a layman's explanation of the often obscure philosophy of the 17th century philosopher Baruch Spinoza. Written in clear and lucid terms, sometimes with quiet humor, Dixon explains exactly what the Dutch-born Portuguese-Jewish philosopher was talking about in his controversial works.
The author's free Study Guide (a $2.95 value) will be included with orders of 3 or more copies of this book, to help Spinoza Study Groups understand the profound implications of Spinoza's philosophy.
Coming next, finally, will be Henry Hollenbaugh's master work, Rhyme of the Fall of Berlin, a powerful mock epic poem and parody of the great classics of antiquity and of modern times. Rhyme of the Fall of Berlin was previously published in a very limited print run, which was quickly exhausted. It will now be available in an unlimited and artistic edition, to satisfy the demand it fully deserves. In February or March of this year we will also begin to distribute another important work: A biography of Albert Schweitzer, translated from the French by Patti M. Marxsen and published by Penobscot Press. Watch for it in these pages.
Writers who are considering submitting their novels or other works should first read one of our titles, to understand what we are looking for.
